



Logline: In this black and white drama Asif is in love with his white British girlfriend Michelle. But, the local skinheads from the city and her parents from the countryside aren’t accepting of the relationship. The true reason for their hostility is only revealed at the end. The BIFA qualifying film has just premiered on Directors Notes and will also have a run on Omeleto. The film stars established talent like Hector Bateman-Harden who is starring in Wes Anderson's next film 'The Phoenician Scheme' and Merelina Kendall (from The Reader, Billy Elliot, 1984) as well as brilliant up and coming talent in our lead actors Omar Hashmi (Asif) and Lauren Clancey (Michelle), as well as our supporting cast of Julie Wood, Ian Ray-White, Kane Surry, Samuel King, Loren Bow and Matt Hansen.
The film was nominated for 'best international short', 'best cinematography' and 'best actress in a short' (Lauren Clancey) at the Love & Hope International Film festival in Barcelona, and 'best short drama', 'best long form short', 'best Sci-fi/fantasy Short', 'best Romantic Short' and 'Best Cast Ensemble' at the Skiptown Playhouse International Film festival in LA, and previously screened at the BIFA qualifying North East International Film festival and London Lift Off festival.
